HMS Maori

The HMS Maori lies in 12-15m of water. Attacked by enemy German aircraft and sank at her moorings in the Malta Grand Harbour on 12 February 1942 with the loss of one of her crew. The wreck was a hazard to shipping and was raised to be scuttled off Malta in 1945. The ship broke in two during the proceadure leaving the bow section in shallow water a few hundred metres from the shore near Valletta. The rest of the ship was dropped in deep water. The video was filmed using a Sony HVR-A1 in a Light & Motion housing. Lighting was either manually white-balanced natural light or 35W Halogen provided by a Greenforce FII Pro.
