Um El Faroud

The Um El Faroud was a former Libyan bulk fuel carrier opperating between Libya and Italy. In 1995 a massive explosion killed nine Maltese dock workers and left the ship unsalvageable. In 1998 after preparation for divers it was scuttled a few hundred metres off shore at Wied iz-Zurriq, Malta. The video was filmed using a Sony HVR-A1 in a Light & Motion housing. Lighting was either manually white-balanced natural light or 35W Halogen provided by a Greenforce FII Pro.
