Newell Eddy Shipwreck, near Spectacle Reef, lake Huron, July 2009

Underwater video of Newell Eddy Shipwreck, near Spectacle Reef, lake Huron, July 2009. Depth is approximately 165 feet. Visibility was good, but there was some cloudiness in the water. The wreck has 3 masts still standing and the bow sprit is also intact. There is an interesting donkey engine on the deck near the bow. The other divers are Todd Gertz (the diver with the still camera) and Steve Kroll. This is a nice dive, lots of interesting things to see and a lot of easy penetration is possible throughout the cargo hold.
