This area was once the Jumping off point for Lewis and Clarks Expedition and later on the Trail out of St Louis, Linking up With The Oregon Trail. Over 3000 homes and Businesses were taken over by Eminent Domain, and all the Homes are gone now, but the Yards, streets and Sidewalks are still there. A 21st Century "ghost town.
