The stranded steamer Turia (20th century) 


The German steamer Turia of 5290 tons has been wrecked  near Ras Hafun, Aden. She was on a voyage from Yokohama to New York with a full cargo of 7000 ingots of tin and copper.

Most of the cargo was recovered but due to the position of the wreck, some ingots left on the spot...
