The loss of the Joseph (20th century)


The Joseph, cargo ship of more than 7.000 tons, was lost in between 80 to 130 meters of water off Taiwan with a valuable cargo of 8.500 tons of copper, silver and gold concentrates. 

She was insured $ 2.000.000 based on full metal content.
