The Ranger was a sister ship of the Gaul , lost while fishing in 1974 , with all 36 crew, aboard. A clip of the investigation of the sinking of the Gaul is posted to YouTube at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eq5X8YL8ji4 . Commercial fishing consistently experiences one of the highest occupational fatality rates. In 2006, commercial fishermen had the most dangerous job in the United States, with an annual fatality rate that was 36 times greater than the rate of all U.S. workers.
