- 1969 News -

The Canadian Treasure hunter, Mr. Alex Storm, has succeeded in recovering the treasure from the wreck of the HMS Faversham, 5th rate of 32 guns, built in 1696 and lost on 7th of October, 1711 off Cape Breton.

The value of the recovered treasure is estimated at many times the whole of the treasure discovered in 1966 by the same Mr. Storm, in the wreck lying in he same area, of the French man of war Le Chameau, sank in 1725 with the payroll for the soldiers of the French garrison of the old fortress of Cape Breton, and which was estimated at $ 7 millions.
