The Zambales was a 1.000 ton cargo ship on her way from Hong Kong to Singapore. She was lost after drifting for 5 days off Manila.
On board, a precious cargo of Chinese antiques insured for HK$ 4.000.000. (Nowadays possibly US$ 2.000.000 ?)
