Hi , does any one have information about a sailing boat the `Bosun Bird`, possibly a Brig, that was used to cary off the Pisco church treasure in 1849 ?.
some stories say it reached Australia where it was scuttled, other say it was wrecked in the Tahiti group of islands after off-loading its cargo, either way its an interesting tale. Was she a British Reg. boat or possibly an American ?.
Some member somewhere must have some details on this account....so come on , start hitting the key-board !!!.
