FT. PIERCE, FL -- Not far from the shore just off Ft. Pierce, a treasure hunt is underway. It is one that's been ongoing for years.
"What you see here in blue represents silver that has been found," says Captain Micheal Perna.
Perna uses computers to map out a plan of attack. Blue is silver, red is gold and every circle is a hole dug showing what has been searched and what's on the horizon.
"This is just in shore of us here."
For these treasure hunters this is a typical day at the office looking for history that sank three centuries ago.
"The shipwreck came in shore and broke up just inshore of us maybe a hundred yards in 30 foot seas 200 mile per hour winds. The ship blasted to pieces so it just went down the coast, how far nobody's quite sure," says Perna.
